Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for an Aircraft Cleaner to join our Aircraft Maintenance Department based in Mobile, AL

Ensuring cabin interior and exterior details readiness throughout the production process of major Milestones and supporting Flight line organization in 5 S/ GSE daily inspection reports.

Your challenges:

Install/ removal cabin interior galley counter top/ floor protection covers at post FOT and post flight to prevent unnecessary discrepancy such as soil/ skid marks/ FOD during FL/DC phase.

Perform cabin interior details cleaning overhead bins, galleys, lavatory post maintenance preparing HO/TAC readiness

Perform detailed cleaning of cabin seats, flight attendant seats, ensure seatbelt/tray tables are in proper position prior delivery.

Conduct cleaning of MED liners/Side walls/window shades and ensure cabin windows are in presentable condition at final delivery.

Support aircraft exterior cleaning as requested by Flight line team Leads.

Ensure proper use of Authorized chemicals to clean Aircraft.

Performs vacuuming of cabin floor/carpet, ensure cabin is FOD free at HO & TAC readiness

Conduct GSE daily inspections and report findings for repair

Support Flight line production in 5S Program and perform daily look and see, walk around and report findings for corrective action.

Review QLB regarding cabin details and focus on solution to minimize repeat finding

Your boarding pass:

Education:

Required
  • High School Diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of training/experience.

Preferred
  • Training from a vocational school or previous employer in the use of application tools and in application techniques.

Experience:

Required

  • 1-3 years experience working with cleaning operations

Preferred
  • 2-4 years experience working with cleaning operations in an aviation manufacturing or repair environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

Prior experience working in a LEAN Environment.

Must be able to work in confined spaces.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding confined space entry, respiratory protection,proper use of PPE, fall protection, hazardous communications and other relevant regulations.

Must be able to transition work platforms and ladders safely.

Must be able to use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, scrapers, wrenches, etc….

Keep tools and support equipment in safe operating condition at all times.

Communication Skills:

  • Must be able to Speak and write in English

Technical Systems Proficiency:

Required:

  • Basic computer skills

Preferred:
  • Knowledge of SAP, AMM, ALB, QLB, ADP
