Job Description:

We are currently seeking an AME (E) Avionics Technician for our client situated in Vancouver, BC.

  • Maintain, adjust modify, test, diagnose, and repair electrical/avionics systems on AW169 aircraft.
  • Create task cards and work orders, as well as order parts and consumables for forecasted maintenance in WinAir.
  • Monitor avionics consumable levels at base and order required items in WinAir.
  • Work with specialized aviation and power tools, computers, and diagnostic equipment
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Keep timely and accurate records of the repair and maintenance activities that were conducted.
  • Carefully observe all procedures, rules and regulations when performing any task.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with, and put to use, safety procedures and safe work practices.
  • Use the appropriate PPE for tasks/jobs.
  • Maintain a clean and productive work area.
  • Conduct aircraft cleaning duties of interior and exterior (excluding medical biohazards).
  • Work efficiently alone and as part of a team.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to the Safety & health Policy Statement, Company Occupational Health & Safety Manual, Company Policies and Procedures and the MPM.
  • Utilize the company reporting system to report any hazard, incident, or accident.
  • Enter labour in the labour tracking system accurately for all tasks performed.
  • Perform work in accordance with all Transport Canada guidelines and the MPM.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must hold a valid Transport Canada AME-E license.

Have experience working on a rotary-wing asset, ideally on Leonardo Helicopters AW-Family aircraft, in particular, the AW169.

Have demonstrated experience working on WinAir or other similar maintenance programs.

Have good organizational skills.

Is proficient in English, written and spoken.

Have the physical ability to sit or crouch for extended periods.

Have the physical ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods.

Have physical dexterity to allow working in confined spaces.

The ability and willingness to undertake shift work.

Is comfortable working at height.

You are eligible for an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)

Have the right to work in Canada and/or have or can obtain a Canadian passport.

Hold a valid driver&8217;s license.
