Under the Head-of Upgrade and Engineering Services, the job holder will manage the Upgrade Services group.

Her / His main missions will be the following ones:

Team Management. Organize Upgrade Services activities governance. Support Customers Market Upgrade services. Monitor Continuous Improvement Manage sub-contracting activities. Manage Upgrade commercial policies.

In the heart of Customer Services activities, the job holder will interface on 360° basis with Retrofit Engineering, Spares Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Parts Provisioning, Finance, Program, CSDs, Commercial and sales teams.

ACTIVITIES

Team Management.

  • Manage a team of 6 people.
  • Organize team meetings and face to face meetings.
  • Develop collaborators soft skills.
  • Prioritize and manage operational activities.
  • Support the team on critical topics.

2. Upgrade Services activities governance.

  • Manage revenues, forecast and OP on Upgrade activity.
  • Organize regular meetings with Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Training, Sales Services...
  • Participate to Upgrade regular coordination meetings (RPSC, Make or Buy Committees, Upgrade Committees, ACDC, Upgrade Steering Committees…)
  • Administrate the A/C Contractual Activities.
  • Internally transfer the invoices of contractual activities to A/C Sales directorate.
  • Manage Retrofit campaigns and put in place associated reporting.
  • Set-up KPIs and monitor Upgrade Services activity.

3. Support Customers

  • Organize regular conference calls with customers (to present ATR solutions, to support Customer requirements and to provide recommendations).
  • Support Customers for Aircraft Entry into Service or A/C Transitions.
  • Specific follow-up for lessors

4. Market Upgrade services

  • Participate to Upgrade Services Catalogue regular updates.
  • Create and promote new Upgrade solutions in ATRactive.

5. Continuous improvement

  • Manage continuous improvement initiatives within the Upgrade Services team.
  • Manage process review and LEAN initiatives for the Upgrade activities with Engineering, Services Sales, Regional Centers, Customer Support Directors, etc.…
  • Manage reporting deployment on Engineering services activities.

6. Manage sub-contracting activities.

  • Monitor the externalization of Upgrade Services activities (Monthly reviews, Payments, KPIS…).

7. Manage Upgrade commercial policy.

  • Create business cases on specific topics.
  • Manage Upgrade costing and pricing activity.
  • Define commercial policies on Upgrade Campaigns.

Educated to a 10-years degree level (or equivalent) in Business, Sales support, Engineering, Marketing (or similar discipline), with 3 to 5 years Professional experience in team Management.

Expected skills of the position:

  • Good knowledge on team management
  • Technical skills:
  • General knowledge of the aircraft, systems and understanding of the after sales environment (maintenance, operations, airline economics…),
  • Basic knowledge in configuration management and airworthiness
  • Basic knowledge on financial activities.
  • Good knowledge in aircraft part supply chain and logistics
  • Experience in Project Monitoring, you know how to drumbeat activities.

  • Language skills (and level): French fluent and advanced level of English (C1) mandatory
  • IT skills (tools): Advanced level Office pack (Word - Excel - PowerPoint) - SAP - Power BI
  • Soft skills (2-3 key skills): Creative - Autonomous - Customer oriented - Team spirit - Proactive - Collaborative - High motivation
