Job Summary:
The Afterspanet Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for the first stage in the service process for the Afterspanet business segment, which includes sales order creation, initial purchase order review, and receiving and tracking customer products.
In this position, accuracy, accountability and speed are all essential job requirements. Service orders must be received into system within 24 hours of receipt on dock and customer service request data must be accurately transposed onto internal sales orders and routes.
Essential Functions:
- Unpacking and inspecting R&O (repair and overhaul) receipts
- Segregating R&O receipts from general receipts on loading dock
- Performing an initial visual inspection of the hardware
- Creating Receiving labels and Receiving paperwork
- Storing and periodically inventorying customer owned shipping containers
- Retrieving, storing, auditing and distributing customer provided maintenance instructions
- Storing the customer hardware in totes used to protect the item while in-house for repair
- Gathering customer provided documents
- Generating internal sales orders and routes
- Creating the digital folders and scanning order paperwork to the folder locations
- Providing Receiving support for after hour AOG calls as needed
- Assist R&O Order Management as required
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: 0-3 years’ experience in an Aerospace Service Facility. This is an entry level position.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- General understanding of business principles, concepts, practices, and standards of the customer service field
- Basic understanding of business functions as it relates to high transactional activities.
- Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent ability to interface productively with customers and internal personnel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- General understanding of aerospace service business principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
- Basic understanding of business functions as it relates to high transactional activities.
- Creative problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prefer post-secondary education and/or training.
- Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Working Conditions:
- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
- Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, heel straps, and shop coats
- Requires lifting up to 50 lbs.

Salary range: $24.31 to 30.30. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
