Job Description:
As the Cryogenic electric propulsion system architect, you will be part of a multinational team in charge of developing an advanced superconducting and cryogenic powertrain to enable high power electric propulsion systems for aircraft application. It will be composed of a cryogenic DC/DC converter, a superconducting DC network with protections, a cryogenic motor drive, a superconducting electric motor and a cryogenic cooling system developed in a dynamic and emulating environment with worldwide partners including multiple research institutes, start-ups or larger industrial groups.
You will have the responsibility to lead the Electrical Systems Architecture activities feeding the main project development milestones: system development plan, specification, PDR, CDR, equipment & system TRL…
Responsibilities
Managing Cryogenics and Electrical System TRL reviews
Managing System Architecture overall technical knowledge
Gathering/formalizing/ensuring proper cascading of all system needs/requirements to feed equipments development team
Developing learning strategy and following-up learnings capitalization

What you bring
Engineering degree or equivalent, PhD, in the field of electrical engineering or similar
Proven professional experience as a system architect/engineer incl. (technical) project responsibility with a acknowledged capability and willingness to understand technical topics at high level
Proven experience in complex trade-off of complex system
Ability to manage and animate worldwide partners
Proven leadership experience of international multidisciplinary team
Ability to lead system-TRL reviews
It will be appreciated experience
Working experience in applied superconductivity, cryogenics or equivalent is an advantage.
in multidisciplinary technical activities (electrical, mechanical, thermal) from technology, design to prototyping and laboratory testing
Negotiation level in English is required with excellent overall communications skills
Passionate about exploring new areas, working on equations and quickly implementing innovative ideas and concepts
Critical thinker that takes on big challenges to create innovative solutions
