Airbus UpNext - Cryogenic lab test specialist (m/f)

Job Description:

As a Multiphysics laboratory tester, you will be part of the testing team. A transverse team here to support all technical work packages test needs, mostly electrical tests in cryogenic environments. 

This position comes with a CDI-C contract for 3 years, the timeline of the demonstrator.

Responsibilities:

As part of the testing team, you will be there to perform those kind of activities:  

• Prepare test setups based on work package needs

• Run electrical, or mechanical endurance tests

• Specify test means, and support development of internal or external test benches

• Maintain internal laboratory and workbench in operational condition and support evolution needs

• Request and/or perform component inspection with Material and Process specialist

• Provide test result reports 

• Maintain lab test equipment list and test capability (planning)

• Support component supplier technical discussion on test feedback

• Support external test means coordination

What you bring

• Significant experience in laboratory or test activities

• Electrical knowledge sufficient to provide your own test request based on test objectives

• Experience in cryogenic appreciated

• Negotiation level in English is required with excellent overall communications skills

• Passionate about exploring new areas, working on equations and quickly implementing innovative ideas and concepts

• Critical thinker that takes on big challenges to create innovative solutions

• Impatience with a burning desire to execute rapidly, without compromising neither safety nor ethics nor compliance

• Transparency, courage, humility, empathy and care for others
