This position will support F-35 operations at NAS Fallon, Nevada. This position serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of F-35 Aircraft Maintenance, Joint Technical data, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Documentation, Action Request processing, Formal On-The-Job Task training/Certifier, and Ammunition and Explosives Handling Qualification and Certification Program expert.
The position also serves as the F-35 Training SME for the newly assigned aircraft maintenance, ammunition and explosives crews. Individual may be required to train multiple students at a time on the ground handling, engine removal, ammunition and explosives handling, and other component replacement required for the F-35 aircraft. Will require extended business travel (potentially with short notice) with the potential to support Foreign Partner locations.
Must meet all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements to perform assigned tasks / training. Must be available to work flexible schedule to cover nights and weekends as required.
Will be required to pass Department of Transportation Medical Physical.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must possess at minimum Interim Secret Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
• At least 6 years Aircraft Maintenance experience without a Bachelor’s degree. Three (3) years’ experience will be accepted for candidates that have a Bachelor’s from an accredited college.
Related experience must include the following:
• 4 years Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) 8023.24 Navy Personnel Conventional Ammunition and Explosives Handling Qualification and Certification Program experience (experience must be within the last 4 years).
• 4 years Quality Assurance Safety Observer (QASO), Collateral Duty Inspector/ Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDI/CDQAR) Navy, or CDI/CDQAR United States Marine Corps.
• Must have two (2) years F-35 experience.
• Must be proficient in the use of the basic Microsoft office suite, particularly must be functional in development of databases and spreadsheets.
• Must have in-depth working knowledge of the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
