easyJet’s Engineering and Maintenance team are renowned for their innovative solutions. With the current program introducing the cutting-edge NEO aircraft and the arrival of the A321 in 2018 there couldn’t be a better time to join.

As an Aircraft Trimmer you will perform defect investigation and rectification as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Certifying Licensed Engineer in accordance with approved maintenance documentation. easyJet maintain the highest safety standards possible and as part of your role you will ensure that the planned in-house maintenance activity supports both regulatory standards and easyJet’s industry leading safety and technical standards.

What you need to do the role

You will be able to demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation. Along with operational experience in either a Hangar or Line maintenance environment. You need a high degree of customer focus – both internal and external and the ability to work effectively in a team in all levels of the organisation. You will be flexible to meet deadlines and overcome operational problems. We will ask you to demonstrate technical knowledge of aircraft and hand skills required to carry out tasks. Lastly, you will need the ability to use aircraft maintenance documentation and computer based reporting and recording systems.

Location & Hours of Work

This full-time role will be based in Gatwick working NNNN 10.75 hour shifts. Shift pattern will 4x4 with occasional travel requirements to easyJet’s headquarters or network locations.
