Job Title: Assembler
Job Type: 12 Months Contract
Location: Goleta, California 93117
Schedule: Monday to Friday; First Shift Start time 6am - 7:30am
Pay Rate: $20.84 per hour
As a Mechanical Assembler, youll be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge systems. Your role will involve intricate mechanical assembly, precision soldering, and meticulous inspection using advanced equipment like microscopes. APPLY NOW!
Requirements:
Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical assembly and soldering as needed
Utilize microscopes and hand-held tools (soldering iron, tweezers, screwdrivers, torque wrenches) for product assembly
Transport items up to 20lbs and manipulate them while sitting, standing, lifting, walking, and pushing carts
Engage in repetitive motions such as tightening screws and other assembly tasks
Use computers for accessing work instructions, timekeeping, data entry, and online training
Wear provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, smock, and gloves for assembly work
Preferred Qualifications:
Engineering environment experience
Knowledge of FOD prevention
ESD-sensitive item handling experience
Soldering, FOD, and ESD certifications
RF assembly experience
2+ years in mechanical assembly and soldering
Pay Details: $20.84 per hour
