Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate Production Coordinator to support the Mid-body Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift.

Successful candidates will possess the ability to work in a team setting and understand and navigate multiple MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems for support of Aircraft production. Will support our production operations teams with respect to receiving, shipping, warehouse operations, material movement in to / out of our production areas, standards and tool support.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions

  • Monitors work in process

  • Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability

  • Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes

  • Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays

  • Works under general supervision

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in North Charleston, SC.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift

  • Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift

  • 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing

  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • 1+ years of experience in inventory management

  • 1+ years of experience supporting manufacturing or retail industry for non-production materials, tool and shop supplies

Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience working with the ERPLN application

  • 1+ years of experience working with KITS/CMES/Bessy/Crib Master/SAP

  • 1+ years of experience shipping using UPS and/or FedEx

  • 1+ years of Warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, and order picking

  • 1+ years of experience working with One BPS (One Boeing Production System)

  • 1+ years of experience operating a Forklift

  • 1+ years of experience material ordering, point of use management

Typical Education / Experience:

Typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED) and 1 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience.

Relocation:

Shift:

Summary pay range: $43,240 – $46,530
