Job Duties
Provide safe and efficient maintenance, including repair, engine run, taxi and troubleshooting aircraft at various MX locations as assigned to minimize delays, cancellations, and OOS impacts. Execute planned and unplanned maintenance tasks in accordance with the appropriate Manuals. Communicate exceptions as they occur and create accurate and complete write-ups with all inputs in a timely manner. Additionally, when there is no manager or lead onsite, to accept the daily work release plan. Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma/GED Current A&P Licenses required. Valid non-restricted driver’s license from the state of residence
Thirty-six (36) months aircraft maintenance experience on turbine powered Aircraft that exceed 12500 lbs. MEW. Previous experience does not include A&P school and training.
- Must have ability to determine Aircraft System failures, troubleshoot and repair.
- Must be able to use test equipment.
- Must be able to interpret + Adhere to all A/C manuals.
- Must be able to attain engine run and taxi certifications as directed
- Must be able to attain aircraft tow operator certification as directed
- Must be able to complete all Aircraft parts replacements procedures.
- Must be able to maintain and service Aircraft systems in a Line and Hangar environment.
- Must have sufficient computer skills to access and complete electronic AML procedures and computer-based training modules
- Must be able to meet all training requirements in a timely manner
- Must be aware of hazardous situations and be able to handle emergencies as needed
- Must be able to perform well in fast paced environment working under specific deadlines and time constraints to perform aircraft maintenance to meet the demands of the flight schedule
- Must work well with others as part of a team and work under stressful situations
- Must be able to remain alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment effectively
- Must be able to communicate information and instructions in writing, verbally or via radio equipment
- Provides friendly service and maintain positive relationship with Internal and External customers
- Works in cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our Company
- Must be able to perform all job functions within cramped and confined spaces, heights, hazardous areas, and various weather conditions.
- Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, stoop frequently and for extended periods of time
- Must support, adhere, and perform company and Regulatory security related directives
- Must be able to obtain required airport certifications and approval of airport access
- Must Be able to Lift up to 75 lbs. & maneuver heavy A/C related Components, parts & equipment regularly
- Must be willing and able to work with and mentor new and inexperienced team members.
FAA covered safety sensitive position. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. A valid non-restricted driver license from the state of residence is required.
This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, spanet level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.
