Your location

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Concept development of a novel door status indicator module useable for airplane doors of a large passenger aircraft under application of defined

  • Development methods evaluation of the technical value (including S&R evaluation) and the recurring cost as well as comparison with existing solutions (basically mechanical solution(s))

  • Aanalysis of the status quo for equipments used in large aeroplanes

  • Abstract modelling of the challenge, the creation of solution elements as well as a morphologic scheme

  • Transfer of the generic/abstract solutions into a 3D DMU environment, the preparation of a state-change-logic and the evaluation of the development object

  • Description of a concept solution, the 3D model creation and the system integration into the given environment

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Enrolled full-time master student in engineering, mechatronics, electric engineering, aerospace or similar

  • First practical experience within Engineering desirable

  • CATIA, 3D CAD knowledge is preferable

  • Language skills: German and English - business fluent
