McWilliams Forge Company, in Rockaway, NJ, is a well-established leader in the manufacture of precision forged products for the aerospace industry. We are seeking a candidate who will train with our current boiler operator and learn how to start up and run our boiler, in addition to floating to different departments (machine shop, shipping, final inspection, etc.) and assisting them based on production need. Candidates must have good eye and hand coordination and attention to detail.
Job Summary:
- Responsible for receiving and adhering to the training the boiler operator provides and performing safe operation of the boiler.
- Operates boilers, associated water treatment, economizer and auxiliary equipment maintaining required system pressures, temperatures and water levels.
- Maintains operating records.
- Will cooperate with operating team and move to accommodate plant needs.
- Ensures safe operation of utility equipment by performing frequent inspections.
