Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2025 Strategy and Business Development - Intern. In this role, you will work closely with one or more BD mentors on projects involving various business analysis disciplines. You will perform one or more of the following business-related activities: spanet research, data analysis, DoD budget analysis, competitive landscape analysis, trade studies, business metrics analysis, opportunity qualification and assessment, capture activities, proposal activities, capture strategies and spaneting plans for new business and program growth pursuit. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the US Department of Defense (US Navy), US Navy platforms (Submarines is a plus), US Government budgeting.

Basic Qualifications:
• Opportunity for candidates pursuing a BS or MS degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, International Business, Finance, Project Management or related major interested in putting their skills to work as a Business Development - Intern.
• Self-motivated and work well in small to medium size groups.
• Strong interpersonal, professional writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to rapidly respond to changing environments.
• Proficient with IT systems to develop source material, conduct research and prepare presentations.
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with United States Navy missions and platforms, Defense Industry landscape
• Familiarity with Unites States Navy Submarine mission area and Undersea Warfare
• Familiar with Products and services provided by Defense Industrial Base

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
