We are looking for a Business Process Analyst Intern for the Summer of 2025.

As a Summer Scholar Intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence. 

Over the course of your 10-12 week internship, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Work and learn as a Business Process Analyst Intern at our San Antonio, TX facility. 
  • This is an opportunity to gain hands-on aviation industry experience from experts in the field in a collaborative and exciting environment.

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

 

  • Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of business unit/functional group business processes, the information/data required and generated by these processes, and the computer application functionality required to make these processes cost-effective and efficient.
  • Develops process metrics and identify opportunities for improving these metrics building IT solutions.
  • Develops clearly written requirements documents and process flows through partnership with functional teams and technical teams.
  • Conducts acceptance testing of new business systems and system enhancements to ensure programming has been done in accordance with detailed specifications.
  • Monitors, maintains and adjusts business systems and applications as required.
  • Develops business process conversion and implementation plans for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
  • Develops informational literature and user manuals and assists in the development of training material for technology-based or other business solutions.
  • Becomes an expert in the business process workflows by working closely with the business operational leaders in the shop
  • Conducts workshops and lean events to facilitate value stream analysis and business process flow mapping.
  • Seek out of the box solutions and challenges status quo to drive positive outcomes for the business.
  • Carries out special projects as assigned.
  • Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.

 

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

 

  • Thorough knowledge of business process redesign or reengineering.
  • Good planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, leadership, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of PCs in the current company operating system environment.
  • Familiarity with writing basic SQL queries and data modeling experience.
  • Knowledge of PowerBi, Trello and other business reporting software.
  • Experience in business process management methodologies including process mapping, conducting lean events and value stream
  • Knowledge in Data Analytics
  • Knowledge in programming languages such as Python, Apex, Java.
  • MRO and Aviation Industry experience a strong plus

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong desire to learn and be a contributing member of a team
  • Strong self-motivation and organization skills

Internship Details:

  • The internship term will be – Summer 2025 (beginning mid-May)
  • The length of the internship is 10-12 weeks
  • Located in San Antonio, TX **students must have own lodging.
