We are recruiting for a Business Resilience Executive to work closely with the Business Resilience Lead to ensure that easyJet has appropriate contingency, continuity, and crisis management plans in place across the business, in line with our integrated resilience framework.

The role will focus on developing and improving the businesss capability to respond to events that may negatively impact the brand, reputation, and financial position of the company. This includes supporting the design and delivery of exercises and training programs, maintaining documentation and manuals, and maintaining the crisis management facilities.

The Business Resilience Executives are responsible for assisting in the creation, validation, and testing of crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity plans. This includes supporting the Crisis Management Team during crisis centre activations, maintaining and reviewing standard operating procedures, facilitating exercise planning sessions, and conducting reviews for continuous improvement. The Business Resilience Executive also serves as an advocate for notification and alerting software systems, raises awareness of business resilience across the organisation and supports the development and maintenance of emergency response plans. Additionally, this role will see you facilitating training, maintaining the teams online presence, and fulfilling the role of Business Resilience representative on-call during activations. 

 

What you need to do this role 

We are looking for someone who has knowledge of resilience streams including crisis management, emergency response, contingency planning, and business continuity. You should have experience working with and within operational procedures, and effectively working with external bodies such as suppliers, regulators, and local authorities. You will have experience running and facilitating exercises, workshops, and group activities, ideally in emergency response/crisis management scenarios, as well as experience in training delivery and providing subject matter expertise in a learning environment, preferably in emergency response/crisis management scenarios.

You will also possess the ability to build connections and work collaboratively across boundaries at all levels. Excellent planning and organisational skills are essential for this role. Location & Hours of Work

 

This is a full-time 40 hour per week position. We support hybrid working and spend three days per week in the office.
