MAP Airframe
We are looking for candidates with experience-knowledge in aircraft configuration, and in aircraft airframe. Knowledge in other aircraft disciplines will be highly valued as well.
MAP Airframe mission is developed at the intersection of the Industrial and Engineering domains, acting as a principal actor as engineering technical representative during the FAL Build Process, Ground Testing, Flight Testing and Delivery Process. It is composed of a multidisciplinary, cross-functional and international team of highly skilled and motivated engineers.
In this position you ́ll have a unique opportunity to be as close as possible to the physical Aircraft and deeply involved through the complete aircraft ́s design, build, test process, aircraft operations and delivery to the final customer.
The job holder is part of MAP Structure & Cargo organization whose main role will be to support Production organization during aircraft’s complete industrial process until aircraft delivery.
The working environment will be international, with availability to move and/or travel, when required, (India, Spain...)
This role requires high technical knowledge in aerospace mechanical engineering and the ability adapt to production environment and to develop strong links with all Engineering, Quality, Delivery and Production teams.

Task & accountabilities
Being the current scope C-295 Make in India program, main tasks are:
- Act as focal point of engineering support to Production, Manufacturing Engineering and, Quality organizations for IFA and FAL facilities.
- Diagnose and ensure resolution of any technical issue on aircraft’s airframe.
- Support Non-conformity process, mainly HNC (manufacturing), QSR (NoE), ERCs (design) and Technical Logbook snags during the assembly and flight testing, in PATM & CAM phases.
- Support the configuration change process to install short term changes for troubleshooting or testing purposes (via Special Instructions)
- Participation in meetings with the Production Organization to coordinate aircraft activities.
- Participation in meetings related to configuration control with the Manufacturing Engineering and Design office.
- Feedback to Design Office for aircraft / modifications current status

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Educated to Aeronautical (preferred) or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
- At least, 3-year experience in aerospace mechanical engineering.
- Experience in Design Office, Maintenance or Manufacturing would be a plus.
- Good autonomous decision making based on technical knowledge and experience is essential for this role.
- Capacity to adapt to work under pressure and in changing environment.
- Experience in projects that require teamwork and collaboration across different departments and/or organizations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- English: Advanced.
- Spanish and local languages will be valued as well.
- Knowledge and experience in the following areas will be highly valued as well: aircraft manufacturing process, maintenance and airworthiness.
