The salary range for this position is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour

Position Summary:

The Calibration Technician is responsible for performing equipment and instruments calibrations company wide, in addition to assisting with the maintenance of company calibration and training records in accordance with internal procedures and industry specifications. The Calibration Technician also supports the Quality Assurance Laboratory and compliance of the quality system through audits and periodic quality control testing.    

Essential Responsibilities:

• Calibrate, test, and repair instruments and Equipment
• Assist QA Lab with periodic testing and solution analysis
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of ovens
• Perform certification reviews
• Assist in the maintenance of training matrix and scheduling of operator re-qualifications
• Conduct hydrogen embrittlement testing
• Develop and update internal standard operating procedures
• Review and interpret customer specifications
• Conduct internal audits
• Assist in maintaining third party accreditation, such as Nadcap, AS9100, etc.

  Position Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Electronics or a related technical field.
• Alternatively, a High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of calibration
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, Nadcap, and Quality Management Systems.
• Minimum of 2 years working in an engineering or quality department, preferably within the Aerospace or Manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in calibrating, testing, and repairing various instruments.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint for daily tasks.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand procedures and specifications.
• Intelligent, organized, reliable, and driven.
