Job Summary:
* What you’ll be doing as a Manufacturing Engineer
* Develop and execute trial plans.
* Create new products on our varied composites, textile, coating, foam, and additive manufacturing technologies.
* Work directly on 3D composites processing equipment and provide “hands on” support to manufacturing and process engineers.
* Analyze test data of newly created products and raw materials.
* Advance Technical Readiness and Manufacturing Readiness Levels.
* Document processing conditions. test results, and other critical-to-quality data.
* Conduct material characterizations for FEA modeling.
* Research new composites materials and novel processes.
* Create work instructions and SOP’s for Quality System. Education:
* Bachelor& 39;s Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Engineering Technology or relevant/related disciplines Skills/Knowledge:
* Must be a technologist/engineer who has mold design and making experience
* Must have process knowledge to cast parts with 2-part chemistries
* Working knowledge of composites, textiles, foam, coating, and other processing equipment.
* Working knowledge of materials testing equipment.
* Eagerness to learn and explore advanced 3D composites, textile processes, and other Additive Manufacturing processes.
* Working knowledge of advance fiber placement systems is desirable.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Effective team player, with strong critical thinking skills.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to create and read 3D Modeling is highly desired.
