Profile:

As a 4-month Central Aftermarket Intern within the Aftermarket organization, this role will report to the Sr. Advisor of Aftermarket Governance & Strategy, assisting in various responsibilities related to developing the overarching Aftermarket strategy, implementing organizational governance, and supporting the Sr. Advisor of Aftermarket on a day-to-day basis. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, execute, and keep up-to-date analytical processes & techniques to support Aftermarket team initiatives
  • Support the Aftermarket team in the development and implementation of our 5-year strategy
  • Develop, implement and maintain standard governance packages
  • Facilitating the annual goal setting process within the Aftermarket organization 
  • Executing on the overall Aftermarket governance and reporting including meeting cadence, KPIs & reporting and overall scorecard
  • Support other initiatives and projects as required 

Direct Accountabilities:

  • Build executive reporting and meeting decks 
  • Support the development and execution of the Aftermarket strategy 
  • Support leadership initiatives over the aftermarket annual goals and objectives

Education and Experience:

  • Currently a 3rd or 4th year bachelor’s student in Business Administration / Management or a related field
  • Strong ability to think critically to problem solve and come up with creative solutions
  • Ability and experience to interpret data and identify data trends
  • Experience managing up
  • Experience with driving continuous improvement through performance measurement, root cause analysis, and corrective actions

Skills:

  • Willingness to adapt to changing business culture and corporate objectives
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and confidently deliver messages using simple language or to simplify complex messages
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to assess the importance of tasks and decisions and set priorities, focusing time/energy on the most important issues/opportunities.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and interact with internal stakeholders.
  • Solution and detail- oriented, customer service focus, and positive “can do” team attitude to consistently meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong attention to detail and business acumen
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion to tell a story from the data, to assist the business in make strategic decisions
