Klune Industries was founded in 1972 in Southern California. More than forty years later, Klune Industries is a preferred supplier to the aerospace and defense industries offering end-to-end solutions for aerospace and defense including sheet metal forming, machining, and assemblies. Klune Industries was acquired by Precision Castparts Corp. in August, 2012.

Position Summary:

Under close supervision, safely perform basic metal form product following processes and customer specifications, Basic understanding of manual arbor press, hydraulic H presses, shrinker/stretcher machines, feeler gauges, straight edge, height gauge, indicator, micrometers, calipers, weights, materials (i.e. aluminum, Titanium, Steel), and basic shop math. 0-3 years of exp

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Under close supervision, safely perform basic metal form product following processes and customer specifications.
Use C/S methods for aluminum parts all feature types (Flat, Angle, Contour etc.)
Verify parts to traveler specified inspection method (Mylar, Template, Tool, etc.)
Basic knowledge of contour specifications

Required Skills:

Basic understanding of manual hand tools (Wrenches), powered hand tools, hammers (all types) protractor, lead bars(C/S), hand sander, and calipers.
Basic print reading
Basic visual inspection
Ability to lift to 35lbs.

Required Experience:

0-3 years of experience

Level of Education:

GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $18.00 to $21.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 104 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
