About the Role
u25A0 Plan schedules, monitor, review and supervise for all preventive/corrective works for civil, structural and architectural asset to ensure all assets remain in excellent working condition.
u25A0 Maintain the following infrastructure such as building interior/exterior facades/fabrics, all types of floor/wall finish, structural, architectural, drainages, roof works, all types of waterproofing works, car-parks, driveways (both rigid/asphalt surfaces) and various types of shades as per schedule through on-site inspection to the best practice standards and in compliance with company policy (SOP).
u25A0 Conduct regular inspection of tools and equipment to ensure is in proper operational order and to make sure maximum availability to meet operational needs of HIA.
u25A0 Response and attendance to breakdown calls in time and adherence to the stipulated KPls for minimizing downtime and maintaining optimal performance.
u25A0 Contractor management through reviewing of Preventative Plan Maintenances schedules, checklists, asset lists, identify missing assets, spare parts and conducting Quality Audit Review to ensure contractor performances are based on standard best practice, operation and maintenance manual, statutory regulations and safety procedure.
u25A0 Perform asset condition survey and asset performances assessment to ensure asset availability and reliability at all time.
u25A0 To carry out monthly inspection for assigned facility and submitted report to Fault Report Centre (FRC) for contractor correction and rectification work.
u25A0 Responsible for a proper management of vehicles assigned to civil team through monitoring condition and usage to ensure compliance to companys vehicle policy.
u25A0 Assist in Tender process through the preparation of Technical Evaluation Reports, Financial Evaluation Reports and negotiation with bidders to achieve the best value for the company in line with all policies and procedures. Prepare tender documents for new projects or retrofit work include preparing scopes of work, drawings, bill of quantities in conforming to project requirement and stockholder requirement.
u25A0 Attend to T &C (Testing & Commissioning) and snagging of on-going and new installations/projects to ensure the overall performance of the project is in line with the specification and stakeholder requirements.
u25A0 Assist to supervise and to manage new projects, remedial work or any other associated work to ensure timely completion with international standard quality and conforming project specification.
u25A0 Maintain the asset data base integrity through delivering new projects in line with the Maintenance Integration policy to ensure all newly created or removed assets are captured and handed over on completion. Review all project submittals in a timely manner through checking for compliance with contract documentation and project requirements to ensure compliance to design standards and specification.
u25A0 Conduct safety toolbox talk for all works undertaken by supervisors and technicians to ensure all health, safety and environmental standards are met.
u25A0 Identifying and procurement of spare parts for maintenance works.
u25A0 Contribute to formulate of in-house training modules for both in technical and H&S (Health & Safety) in order to orient and inform the department of relevant guidelines related to works.
u25A0 Organise corrective maintenance tasks in timely and within the stipulated response time to minimise asset down time and impact to airport operation.
u25A0 Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
Qualifications
About You
High School Qualification/ Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience.
• Experiences in the maintenance of buildings and building inspections.
• Degree in Civil Engineering with relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
Essential
• Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of all civil, structure, drainage, roads, bridges, geotechnical, and sewerage systems.
• Knowledge of local statutory requirement and Code of Practice regulations.
• Well verse with methodologies of complex repairs.
• Ability to prepare reports of all nature.
• Ability to work under high pressure and tight work schedules
• Ability to lead on investigative works and provide solutions on all types of civil/architectural defects and faults.
• Command of English language.
• Should have good leadership and mentoring qualities to build a dynamic team to ensure that all capital assets within his jurisdiction are always in excellent operating conditions.
