Cleaning Operative

•Responsible for the day-to-day Maintenance and Cleaning of the Hangar facility.

•General cleaning of the canteen, toilets, and office areas:

•Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors

•Emptying waste bins, servicing restrooms, and wiping down communal surfaces

•Tackle heavy cleaning jobs upon request

•Ensure outside walkways remain clear and free of debris

•Notify supervisor / manager of any repairs required

•Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately

•Any other duties as requested by your supervisor / manager.

•Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning.

•Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours.

•Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.

•Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team.

•Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.

•Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.

•Successful candidate is required to obtain a clean Disclosure Scotland to work at UK airports.
