These improvements will ultimately enable Lockheed to build better products faster in support US Department of Defense mission. In acknowledgement of this opportunity, the Classified Transformation organization and leadership structure have been put in place, along with significant investment, to drive positive changes to both transform and standardize Classified IT delivery.
The Classified IT Cloud Architect will be responsible for guiding the technical solutions for this transformational classified network. The role requires an individual with a broad knowledge of IT cloud environments from commercial cloud vendors. The selected individual will assist the team with the challenges of deployment in support of classified programs. They will be expected to guide the teams selection and implementation of architectural changes and technology insertion to ensure successful deployment of a wide range of cloud services for classified programs, establishing a vision for success while being attentive to meeting classified cybersecurity requirements across the system. This role will include network architecture definition along with development of a defensive security architecture.
Basic Qualifications:
- Significant experience as an Architect, Systems Engineer, or Cyber Analyst/Architect
- Strong understanding of various Architecture frameworks (TOGAF, DoDAF, etc)
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies and architectures
- Knowledge and understanding of Cybersecurity requirements for DoD Collateral programs
- Knowledge of classified cloud service providers
- Knowledge and/or experience with network architecture and design
- Interim Secret (or higher) Clearance required prior to start
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of classified cloud service provider architectures and services
- Experience with network encryption methods (Type 1, IPSEC, MACSEC)
- Ability to lead team in highly technical classified IT environments
- Linux / Windows architecture experience
- Networking design & Architecture including Software Defined Networking
- Technology Road mapping Experience
- Experience with Cross Domain Solutions
- Experience with multi-tenant classified systems
- Familiarity with RMF, JSIG, ICD503
- Knowledge of infrastructure services including storage, networking, cloud, and computing

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $128,900 - $247,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
