The Cloud Architect will lead the design, migration, and implementation of cloud solutions with a primary focus on migrating workloads from on premises data centers and AWS into Azure.

• Architecture & Implementation: Design and implement Azure cloud solutions aligned with business objectives, leveraging expertise in Azure services, automation, and best practices.
• Team Development & Collaboration: Mentor IT team members on cloud technologies, foster collaboration across global teams, and support professional growth to enhance overall capability.
• Optimization & Cost Management: Regularly evaluate and optimize cloud resources for improved performance, cost reduction, and alignment with evolving business needs.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure all cloud deployments adhere to security standards, implement robust measures like encryption and identity management, and conduct regular risk assessments.
• Operational Excellence: Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, ensure high availability, manage automation and patching, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 4 years in cloud architecture roles. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
• Masters’ degree a plus.
• A combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure, including migrating workloads to Azure.
• Experience with AWS services and migration strategies.
• Expertise in systems administration, including managing virtualized environments, storage, and networks.
• Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and AWS Certified Solutions Architect (preferred).
• Deep knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure, services, and security.

• Strong familiarity with AWS cloud services and hybrid cloud environments.
• Proven ability to lead cloud migration projects and optimize cloud solutions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Remain in a stationary position 50 of the time.
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• Walk short distances.
• Reach above and/or below shoulder.
• Handle/grasp documents or office equipment.
• Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods of time.
• Lift/carry/move objects, files, and documents up to 50 pounds.
• Work in an office environment using standard office equipment.
• Talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone.
