Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a Competency and Development Business Partner to join our Human Resource Team based in Mobile, AL

This role’s primary objective is to enable business performance and ensure our people reach excellence in their field. The Competency and Development Business Partner contributes to the creation of common learning, development, awareness and knowledge solutions to deploy a continuous learning and self-directed development culture for all of Airbus with a concentration on Mobile FAL topics.

Nearby on ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Your Challenges: 

● Contribute to Competence assessment campaign exercise and analysis with learning recommendations 

● Contribute to the creation of common learning, development, awareness and knowledge solutions with the SMEs (Subject Matter Expert) 

● Manage the jobs and competences referential, working in close relationship with the Academies in Europe 

● Ensure harmonization between the referential catalogs and the FAL’s business ● Monitor learning solutions deployment, taking care of trainers identification and availabilities and ensure adequation to the Competence & Learning priorities

● Provide visibility on job profiles mapping, competences assessment & learning deployment progress through relevant Key Performance Indicators for the business

● Propose and design development recommendations and actions to mitigate identified risks and the benefits of those opportunities 

● Build a trustful network with the stakeholders 

● Ability to build, develop and participate in an effective multi- functional team work in order to provide the most applicable solution to the customer. 

● Understand Function/strategy and the Business strategy in order to support challenges and influence the Business. 

Your Boarding Pass: 

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Adult Learning, HR or related field OR commensurate prior experience in HR/Competency Management function 

● Anticipate the impacts of global trends on jobs and competencies 

● Good communication/interpersonal skills for interacting with stakeholders

● A background in or knowledge in the Competence and/or learning area

● Ability to work in multicultural environment 

● The know how to handle quantitative and qualitative data analysis to support managers’ decision making related to Competence Management 

● 3 Years Learning and Competence with a Manufacturing facility is a plus!

● Google Suite and WorkDay experience preferred
