Description
The Copy Writer is responsible for maintaining highly conversive & engaging copy for Digital and eCommerce channels by producing and publishing first-class written content, securing completeness and homogeneity of product information, and spearheading the implementation of engaging content strategies.
Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Design, maintain and coordinate/lead implementation of the content plans for the Digital and eCommerce channels, that encompass, among other things, content plans for:
articles/tutorials/advertorials, internal staff shop-related communication, experiential content, etc. to enhance guest engagement and drive business growth.
Create original compelling copy for Digital/eCommerce touchpoints and campaigns to capture the attention of the targeted audience and encourage guests to engage more with the brands.
Harmonize brand and product related copy as per the established specifications; liaise with vendors directly if required ensuring that all communications resonate with the targeted audience while reflecting the core values and personality of the brand.
Work directly in the Content Management System (CMS) and Product Information Management System (PIM) in order to perform copy updates and essential e-merchandising for effective digital merchandising and maintaining a cohesive online presence.
Ensure, where relevant, the best SEO (Search Engine Optimization) practices/ tone of voice are applied to textual content in the area of responsibility to improve the ranking in search results.
Partner with the corporate communications team on adapting storytelling content for public relations and communications needs to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement.
Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualifications
About you
The successful candidate will have the following:
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
Minimum of 4 years of job-related experience
Job Specific Skills:
Command of English language
Professional agility and ability to both zoom in (e.g. deliver large amounts of copy for online products) and zoom out (e.g. design and lead implementation of an editorial plan for the next 3-6 months)
A strong portfolio showcasing creative writing skills in the above-mentioned areas
A creative and curious mind, an eye for detail, and a captivating storyteller
The ability to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team, handling multiple projects simultaneously
Interfaces with middle management
