Job Summary:
The Corporate Counsel will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team with a primary focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts. This position requires a proactive and organized individual with excellent legal contracting acumen and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

Responsibilities include:
- Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, including but not limited to NDAs, lease agreements, customer agreements, Business Associate Agreements, software license agreements and vendor contracts.
- Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
- Ensure that all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of contract templates and standard terms.
- Support the legal team in contract management and administration.
- Create and maintain summaries of key contracts.
- Conduct legal research on contract-related issues and stay updated on relevant legal developments.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless contract execution and management.
- Assist in the resolution of contract disputes and provide recommendations for mitigating contractual risks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the General Counsel.

The successful candidate will have:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- License to practice law
- 1-3 years experience in contract law, preferably in a corporate or in-house setting.
- Strong understanding of contract law and principles
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communications skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable maturity, professionalism, and gravitas.
- Able to adapt to changing conditions, and to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they arise.
- Understanding of personalities and behavioral styles in order to work collaboratively with a variety of people and to make informed decision around resourcing, reporting structures and relationships.
- Familiarity with HIPPA and/or healthcare law is a plus.
- This position is designated Safety Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.
