Silver Airways, a leading regional airline is hiring a fulltime Crew Payroll Clerk in our headquarter office in Hollywood, FL. The Crew Payroll Clerk will report to the Payroll Manager and be responsible for assisting the Crew Payroll Team with processing the semi-monthly Flight Attendant and Pilot payroll, as well as other payroll and administrative responsibilities. (FT On-site position)

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Adjust pay codes through auditing process to determine accuracy and needed adjustments
  • Answer crew member payroll questions and resolve pay discrepancies
  • Process Flight Attendant payroll for the 15th and 30th of month
  • Process Flight Attendant pay sheets using Excel spreadsheets
  • Adjust Flight Attendant pay sheets as needed to accommodate new pay rules
  • Assist with pay discrepancies and questions via email
  • Learn and assist Pilot Crew Payroll Specialist on specials project
  • Calculate and control sick bank reports for crew members
  • Work with HR and Flight Operations during initial Flight Attendant classes and assist new hires in understanding how pay is calculated
  • Distribute paychecks for pilots and flight attendants via FedEx to all stations
  • Process expenses and per diem forms submitted by crew members by auditing, verifying and calculating for approval
  • Analyze pay procedures on the N-OC / Raido payroll program to calculate crew payroll
  • Learning new processes and facilitating cross training work with Crew Scheduling to resolve problems such as coding, pay issues, including N-OC / Raido errors

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent data entry skills – both fast and accurate
  • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written
  • Excellent customer service skills – both courteous and helpful
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Must be able to work with sensitive issues while ensuring confidentiality
  • Minimum of 1-3 three years Payroll experience or Crew Scheduling experience
  • AA, BS, BA or related years of working experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen, as well as a FBI Fingerprint & Criminal History Check and Credit Check
  • FT on site position Mon-Fri; will require occasional nights and weekends

Desired Qualifications:

  • Aviation/Airline experience highly desired
  • Crew scheduling experience highly desired
  • Knowledge of Airline software NavBlue, N-OC / Raido, Flica, CT Wed, Vision, Crew Trac
  • ADP experience
