Job Description:
STS Technical Services is hiring a Custodian in High Ridge, Missouri. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment across office spaces and industrial buildings. You’ll perform regular cleaning tasks, promote health and safety, and ensure that our facilities remain in top condition for employees and visitors. Job Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness in office and industrial areas by following a scheduled cleaning routine.
Clean and sanitize kitchens and restrooms, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Dust and wipe down furniture; sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; empty and clean trash containers.
Assist with event setups for meetings, classrooms, and conferences.
Maintain and clean hard-surface floors by stripping, buffing, and sealing them; shampoo carpets.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as buffers, auto scrubbers, vacuums, and high-pressure washers.
Wash interior and exterior windows; clean blinds and manage laundering of cleaning rags.
Lock and unlock assigned buildings; ensure buildings are secure when not in use.
Handle chemicals and supplies per company guidelines.
Perform outdoor tasks like removing debris or snow from sidewalks and steps.
Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, and inventory requirements to management.
Comply with safety protocols and ensure all work meets company standards.
Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Follow all company policies and procedures while completing work tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 0+ years of experience in custodial or maintenance work.
Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, techniques, and safety protocols.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions for cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.
U.S. citizenship required.
