Customer Claims Executive – easyJet Holidays – French Market

Job Purpose
 
Being responsible for supporting the management, coordination, and processing of uninsured legal challenges commenced in France against easyJet Holidays. Continuously reviewing uninsured legal processes to direct claims efficiently to the appropriate business area Ensuring that easyJet Holidays interests are represented through the litigation process in uninsured matters, including any final court hearing. Providing advice and support on consumer, Package Travel and general uninsured litigation matters to pre-action colleagues as well as the wider business. 

Job Accountabilities 

Working with the easyJet Holidays customer and insurance teams to implement processes and procedures to identify and route claims correctly. Providing advice on long term claims response strategies, imparting knowledge of the claims environment and the exposure facing tour operators. Acting as subject matter expert on all aspects of litigation exposure facing easyJet Holidays, providing sound commercial solutions. End to end ownership of litigated claims presented against easyJet Holidays, outside the scope of insurance coverage, but including those brought under the Package travel Regulations. You will have Knowledge and experience in dealing with, and responding to, uninsured claims, including pre-action matters, litigated matters and ADR cases such as conciliations. Providing advice to the customer team on escalated referrals, outside easyJet’s insurance coverage, where litigation is threatened reporting on reserves, liability, volume, and trends. Acting as a wider business liaison in order to appraise the business of emerging litigation trends and competitor activity

What you’ll bring to the team:

Experienced Paralegal with French Civil Procedure Law and Package Tour Regulation expertise. Being proficient in French Civil Procedure Law for tactical advantages.
Fluent/native French speaker .You will have Advantageous experience in insured matters, especially personal injury, within tour operator legal environments. Skilled in developing processes for short, medium, and long-term strategies, with strong relationship-building, influencing, and negotiating skills, including advising senior stakeholders. Being able to efficiently handle large work volumes and comfortable with numeracy/data. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Additional European language skills are highly regarded.

Location and Hours of work
 
This role is full time and will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week, with flexible working  3 days a week in the office.

The role is full-time and based at our easyJet holidays HQ near Luton Airport. We operate a hybrid working model with two in-office days per week, typically Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
