Help ensure that Lockheed Martin’s products can be produced and sustained for their lifecycles. Join the Lockheed Martin Market Surveillance team that serves as the primary hardware and software obsolescence researchers and analysts for many of the company’s key programs. The Market Surveillance team directly supports Lockheed Martin programs from missiles and missile launchers to ground and ship-based radars to airborne laser systems and many more. The Market Surveillance team is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and recording DMSMS data (including End-of-Production and End-of-Support Dates) for Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) items, components, and software products to help mitigate risk to product sustainment. This position places an emphasis on data research and collection via email, phone, and web before recording that data into an Obsolescence Management tool called Consolidated DMSMS Analysis Tool Suite (CDATS).

General Responsibilities for this position include:
Interfacing with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) via email, phone, and webforms to obtain DMSMS Data.

Estimating End-of-Production and End-of-Support Dates using information such as Market Introduction, Commodity Type, and Lifecycle Stage.

Accessing various websites, databases, and distributor sites (i.e. IHS, Silicon Expert, Mouser and Digi-key) to identify obsolescence and potential mitigation strategies.

Quickly and accurately recording DMSMS data into CDATS.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to quickly and correctly input data
Strong Communication Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Products (i.e. Excel, Outlook)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to research independently
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to present outcomes and findings to the DMSMS team
Desired Skills:
General understanding of DMSMS / Obsolescence
Knowledge and experience with Consolidated DMSMS Analysis Tool Suite (CDATS)
Self-starter with ability to work in a deadline driven environment and close on tasks
Familiarity of commercial computer systems, equipment, software, and technologies
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
