Description
In this role, as Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in helping to extract valuable insights from vast data sets and use those insights to make informed business decisions. You will be responsible for designing and implementing data mining algorithms, developing predictive models, and communicating your findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will leverage your expertise to develop and deploy cutting-edge natural language processing and generative models to drive innovation and solve complex business challenges.
Analyse data to identify patterns, trends, insights and opportunities for business improvements.
Design and implement data mining algorithms and predictive models.
Develop and implement advanced natural language processing models using large language models.
Utilize generative AI techniques to create innovative solutions and generate synthetic data where applicable.
Develop and implement generative AI models for a variety of applications, including text generation, translation, and creative content creation
Implement analytical models in production by collaborating with data engineers and machine-learning engineers.
Evaluate model performance, iterate on improvements, and integrate feedback to enhance data generation capabilities.
Collaborate with engineers to integrate AI models into production systems.
Communicate technical concepts and findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into business processes.

Qualifications
Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
6+ years of job-related experience.
In-depth understanding of machine learning algorithms and modelling (e.g., semi-supervised or weakly supervised learning, generative models, transfer learning, optimization, large language models, etc.)
Strong experience with generative AI models desired.
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch and python programming skills.
Experience in Vertex AI
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or GCP
Passionate for data science and AI, and a desire to stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the field, such as Generative AI.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
