ServiceNow developer will be part of the Information Management (IM) function.

The developer should have hands-on experience on both development and support of Service Now application and would be working in close cooperation of the application owner and architect.

The developer would play a key role in managing and maintaining a sound production environment.  In addition, the consultant should be experienced in end to end incident / problem management. 

The consultant will work in an international, distributed and multi-functional team; using an agile mindset and methodology. 

Qualification

Service now implementation experience in ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB & Asset) and Service Portal. 

Service now implementation experience in any of the modules: SPM, ITOM or CSM and Performance Analytics

Strong experience in Integrations with 3rd party tools using (web services, SOAP, email, REST and MID, etc…). 

Hands-on experience developing using JavaScript. 

Hands-on experience working with relational databases. 

Experience developing ServiceNow APIs, ServiceNow Workflows, UI Pages, UI Macros, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, Security Rules 

ServiceNow administration experience. 

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Build service requests from customer requirements including requests, request items and tasks using workflows -to manage data flows from the customer to the support teams providing the service. 

Uses scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality to create scripts to automate rote tasks being done in Service Now. 

Performs integrations and process automation using ServiceNow Orchestration. 

Load, manipulate and maintain data between Service-now and other systems. 

Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes 

Performs system and integration testing with sample and live data Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the application. 

Hands-on design, development and deployment experience with the ServiceNow platform.
