Position Summary:

Coordinate receipt, processing and release of documentation maintained in material document control to support manufacturing process.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible to review, monitor, follow up, coordinate, and otherwise control receipt, processing, and release of documentation &39;in material document control function. Utilize a thorough knowledge of document control system for various product lines, and engineering, methods, marketing, and planning document release systems.

  • Review incoming, in process and outgoing documentation to determine consistency of records with document control system, to identify potential documentation or information shortages and to initiate appropriate corrective action. Recommend document control system improvements.

  • Control drawings, engineering and release orders, routers, and other supporting documentation in material document control. Verify and receive documents into document control, assign and maintain document control numbering system, and. monitor document processing and release activity. Alleviate work overload situations by performing any clerical processing or machine operations to handle customer reproduction or stationery requests, prepare engineering or shop releases, or perform data base entry or microfilming.

  • Make frequent contacts with engineering, methods, marketing or planning departments to follow-up pending document and information shortages and to coordinate correction in incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate document control system data. Setup, operate and service any document control office equipment including microfilming, data entry, reproduction, printing, and ERP system.

Level of Education:

One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21.00 to $31.50 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 96 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
The position will be eligible to participate in the Company’s Long-Term Incentive Program
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
