Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Glendale specializes in the manufacturing of precision magnesium and aluminum sand castings. We have an exciting opportunity for a Drysand Operator.

Essential Responsibilities

• Identified pattern at eye level
• Sand blast chills
• Place chills on pattern and repeat process for all patterns on daily schedule
• Repetitive motion
• Frequent walking back and forth
• Position requires continuous walking and standing on concrete surface
• Repetitive hand, wrist movement 8-10 hours
• Frequent bending, stooping and lifting
• Continuous use of hand motion/fine manipulation
• Work as a tem within department and  with other departments and Leads
• Packing molds with sand
• Other duties may be assigned

Position Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced
• Knowledge in reading and interpreting work instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Good communication skills
