Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a End to End (E2E) SYSTEM SECURITY ARCHITECT(f/m) to join our team in Toulouse, France.


You will join the End to End Connectivity Lead Engineers and System Architect domain within Engineering, leading the design and delivery of large connectivity solutions in the field of Military Satcom networks & Governmental Telecom Constellations.

The position can be based either in Elancourt or Toulouse (Site of &34;Le Palays&34;)

Mission

The E2E Security Architect supports the business proposal and design teams of the entity by interpreting and consolidating the client&39;s security needs and requirements, expressed or not.

This position requires a security authorization or to be eligible to an authorization by recognized authorities.

Its close proximity to the business allows it to be involved on risk management and governance issues. In particular, its role is to analyze, design, integrate or implement security techniques in the context of &34;business&34; areas to fulfill security objectives.

He/she advises the program and engineering departments, contributes to the expression of overall and technical security needs in design, integration and security management. As such, he/she has competence and experience in his field of work and in the field of security.

Tasks and Accountabilities

You will be in charge of the following main activities:

  • Analyze customer security requirements, understand the needs and evaluate related costs
    • Define the Program Security Plan, in particular the security of:
      • program data;
      • customer data;
      • exchanges with the customer;
      • exchanges with subcontractors;
    • Define the alert processes in the event of a breach in the security of program or client data;
    • Define the program&39;s security needs in agreement with the program manager
    • Assist the architects in making choices involving impacts on the security of the solution or the delivered product;
    • Technical exchanges with the safety expertise provided by the engineering teams to have adequacy of the proposed solutions with:
      • the client&39;s security needs
      • the Airbus security needs
      • the Authorities security needs
  • Coordinate security activities for program leader :
    • Cyber security risk analysis strategy
    • Accreditation process deliverable and milestones
    • Security team workload
  • Establish the structure of the security reference system applicable to the solution or to the product delivered;
  • Lead workshops bringing together experts and stakeholders on security topics;
  • Reporting to the program&39;s Security Review Board (SRB);
  • Manage, present and recommend decisions about residual risks identified

To achieve these objectives, the E2E Security Manager relies on the people in charge of the transversal handling of these activities (Security Architect, Security Officer, Export Control Manager, Security Engineer, etc.).

Required skills

You&39;ve have minimum10 years expérience

Space systems engineering (ground and / or onboard)
• Information security governance
• Information systems security architecture
• Project management and team supervision

Analytical mind with a strong ability to explain and synthesize
Experience in customer management. Active listening and excellent communication skills to build a trustful relationship

Strong leadership and guidance, high resilience level, judgment and ability to challenge.

Team spirit (cooperation, solidarity and mutual support within and across teams).

Fluency in oral and written communication (French & English)


 

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
