Job Title: Enterprise Digital Architect 

Location: Luton

Working with stakeholders within and outside IT, the Architecture function ensures that a common technology architecture framework is defined and adopted across the organisation.

The Strategy & Architecture team are responsible for both shaping the longer-term direction of technology used by the easyJet business functions and playing an active role in ensuring that programmes & projects move us in that direction and assuring the delivery of good quality, fit-for-purpose solutions.

The Strategy & Architecture team are highly collaborative and work across a broad range of stakeholders, both in the business and within IT, to build understanding and ensure alignment on key decisions. 

As an Enterprise Digital Channels Architect, you will be the visionary behind the architecture of our digital channels, ensuring that our web, mobile and B2B services are robust, scalable, and deliver a seamless user experience. You will play a crucial role in developing the digital roadmap, aligning technology solutions with business objectives, and pioneering innovative digital solutions. 

The successful candidate will have recent experience in architecting Customer facing experiences in an omni-channel environment. Direct experience in the Airline industry is not necessary, but, transferable experience from other industry sectors is required. The person will also have the experience and competency to lead technical colleagues as well as present to and influence senior stakeholders.

 This role will report directly to the Head of Enterprise Architecture, have a dotted line to Director of Digital Engineering and work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team and Digital Channels team.

Job Requirements:

What you need to do the role

 Proven experience as a digital architect, solution architect, or similar role.
- Strong expertise in MACH principles, serverless architecture, and cloud-based services.
- Proficiency in web and mobile application development using modern technologies and frameworks.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of integration patterns, API design, and API management platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Enterprise architecture skills, aligning business requirements with IT architectures.
- Familiarity with different IT delivery approaches (agile, waterfall, etc.).
- Excellent presentation skills for communicating technical architecture and strategy.

Location & Hours of Work

This is a full-time role, we support hybrid and we spend 3 days per week in the office which is based at Luton Airport.
