FCAS2023 CAD/DMU Process and Tools supporter

Job Description:

A position for a CAD/DMU Processes and tools in Engineering within Airbus Defence & Space for all the products.

CAD/DMU Data Management GET is in charge of generate and manage the CAD/DMU infrastructure, support the users and data generated with CAD/DMU tools within Airbus Defence and Space at Spain perimeter.

Tasks:

• To support the selection, test, evaluate and deploy CAD/PDM Tools. Including the support to create environments.
• To manage data generated with CAD/DMU Tools, including data exchange
• To support the development and deployment the CAD Methods and Processes in Airbus Defence and Space programs.
• To develop the methodology for the Generation, maintenance and data extraction of the Digital Mock Up in Airbus Defence and Space
• To develop or support the development of the utilities to improve CAD processes.
• To support the development of the processes and utilities for the Quality control of the Digital Mock Up and Design CAD information.
• To test, evaluation and deploy the environment of DMU Integration and Definition of Digital Mock up.
• To attend specific CAD forums/meetings representing Airbus Defence and Space (internal or external meetings)
• To maintain CAD Tools for Military Aircraft and Space developments

Qualification:

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Work experience as CAD processes and methods.
• General Expertise on 3DX, CatiaV5, PDM systems Tools
• Experience demonstrated in the handling and modelling of assemblies and the Modules of Catia V5 should be valuable.
• Experience in Files Integration in the Digital Mock Up environment in Catia V5
• Experience in the Design and Engineering process: Mechanical and structural installation should be valuable.
• Experience in the electrical process: wiring and harness definition and harness installations should be valuable.
• Knowledge in manage product structure will be valuable.
• Knowledge in Space Methods will be valuable
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness for teamwork in a transnational surrounding with various interfaces to other disciplines
• Spanish for current work
• English for international meetings
• Programming capability

Tools:

• CAD/PDM tools - necessary: CATIA V5, CMS, SNT, 3DX
• Other tools - desirable: Product view, other light viewers, SIDIE (electrical database), VPM, Smarteam
• Programing Language : Visual Basic, C&43;&43;, Java, awk, KSH, web
