Job Title: Facilities TechnicianJob Description
As a Facilities Technician, you will spend 60 of your time working on air conditioning tasks, maintaining 30 AC units and 30 environmental chambers. The remaining 40 of your time will be dedicated to maintaining production equipment, the building, electrical, plumbing, and more. This includes tasks like demoing walls, moving walls, and working with ovens, water towers, and vacuum pumps.
Responsibilities
- Perform air conditioning maintenance on 30 AC units and 30 environmental chambers.
- Maintain production equipment, building, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Demo and move walls as needed.
- Work with ovens, water towers, and vacuum pumps.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Read and interpret work orders.
Essential Skills- 5+ years of experience in HVAC - commercial or residential air conditioning.
- EPA Section 609 (freon) certification or ability to obtain within a month.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work on ladders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with ice machines and cascading refrigeration is a plus.
- Experience in troubleshooting, electronics, schematic reading, mechanical components, assembly, wiring, production, electrical assembly, power tools, soldering, and mechanical and electrical systems.

Work Environment
The work environment is climate-controlled, and you will be working at a workbench alongside other assemblers in a department of 50 mechanical and electrical staff. The hours are 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 9/80 schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
