Reports to:   OCC Manager

Description:   
The Flight Operations Assistant supports the OCC Manager in an administrative, supportive role for the OCC Team.

Qualifications
Must have computer skills in basic Microsoft Office products and data entry skills for information software databases.   Be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.  Must be 21 years of age or more for compliance purposes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist dispatchers in the normal performance of their duties
  2. Retrieve pilot flight duty reports and recording flight details in the associated paper records and the Operation management system.
  3. Enter information about Pilot Flying and Pilot Monitoring into flight operations system from submitted internal forms.
  4. Enter flight data from aircraft movement messages in associated paper records and the flight operations system.
  5. Provide support with company radio communications.
  6. Assist dispatchers in preparation of documents related to flight operations.
  7. Revising aircraft publications for company aircraft.
  8. Vet documents which are returned to the company after flights, as included in the commander’s Brief Flight Operations return envelopes.  Filing and retaining the following documents for the periods stated in manuals and the General Operations Manual.
  9. Provide support with flight crew notification procedures relating to flight
  10. Assist with support, coordination and flight document delivery to company aircraft and crew members on a timely basis.
  11. Assist with support, coordination and document delivery to external business partner airlines.
  12. Act as ramp coordinators to facilitate the servicing of aircraft in a timely manner, communicate aircraft position, to OCC and customer service representatives, communicate and coordinate passenger boarding readiness for flights, and other activities, as required to ensure aircraft arrivals and departures are managed in a timely and smooth manner.
  13. Other activities assigned by the aircraft dispatcher or OCC Manager
  14. Be able to lift to 10 lbs. if required
