Functional Electric technician (m/f)

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Functional Electric technician (m/f) to join our multidisciplinary team of 40 people based in Toulouse, France. 

You will be part of a team responsible for designing the electrical functionality of Multi program aircraft, all along the aircraft’s life cycle.

As part of the team, you will be involved in providing the correct interconnection definition between different electrical components of the Nose Forward Fuselage & Pylon sections of the aircraft aiming at delivering electrical drawings (several types depending on the needs) and ensure the consistency of electrical database (mainly CIRCE-C, used by manufacturing).

Your challenges: 

• Integrate the system&39;s new definitions in the database. It results on new/updated Principle Diagrams / Extended Principle Diagrams / Wiring Diagrams on time and in quality, incl. electrical components and standard parts.

• Be responsible for the analysis of definition data out of the Functional Diagrams, SpecificWiring Requirements Documents, section interfaces and to check the resulting design solution or compliance with the requirements, consistency of approach, quality and completeness.

• Launch and follow the sub-contracted tasks related to his domain responsibility in agreement with Airbus Code and Rules.

• Liaise with suppliers of electrical parts, to ensure the design is manufacturable and assess alternative methods to reduce cost and timescale (Design to Manufacture/Sustainability/Costs).

• Contribute to update in-service A/C by supporting customer services departments providing prompt answers to queries and defining solutions for Service Bulletins.

• Guarantee delivery to Electrics internal customers (Manufacturing, Engineering) and external customers (Harnesses Suppliers, sections, inspection, simulator, Technical Data, etc.) of the electrical function definition and wiring definition on time and on budget, with the required quality for correct program operation.

Your boarding pass: 

• BTS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)

• Basic knowledge of Electrical domain

• Google Suite basic knowledge
