Role Summary

Here at Parker Meggitt, we’re recruiting for a General Ledger Assistant to join our Finance Team based at Ansty Park. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivery of consistent, streamlined, global Record to Report processes, affecting multiple stakeholders across Parker Meggitt. There’ll be a focus on operational excellence and high levels of customer service with an added focus on continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities 

Monthly inter-company reconciliations and netting between business units

• Maintaining the asset register and uncapitalised spend
• Preparing monthly VAT returns
• Timely balance sheet reconciliations completed on a monthly basis in BlackLine
• Monthly analysis of KPIs and discussion with manager
• Other task / project involvement requirements in order to support meeting SLAs

Who we are looking for

• A solid understanding of double entries
• Experience within a financial shared service centre
• Working knowledge of SAP

Ideally, you will also have

• Aerospace industry experience
