The role:

An exciting opportunity to join British Airways as a Trainer within our Global Learning Academy has arisen!

The Global Learning Academy is responsible for the planning, design and delivery of all learning, offering safe and personalised services to colleagues across British Airways.

Based in Manchester, you will be responsible for delivering New Entrant training, conversion and strategic training across our Global Engagement Centres.

What you’ll do:
  • Facilitate engaging and impactful learning, either face-to face or on-line, that equips and enables our colleagues to fulfill and reach their full potential in role.
  • Deliver other training across the organisation including leadership & management development, policy training, corporate service training, train-the-trainers and coaching other trainers, where required.
  • The role holder may also be required to support with the design of training content.
  • Manage the learning environment and delegates on the day, including their performance and attendance management.
  • Ensure all learning and feedback is accurately recorded and successfully meets regulatory requirements.
  • Identify commercial training opportunities and deliver to external audiences.
  • Please note the role holder may be required to travel to other global sites.
What you’ll bring to British Airways:
  • Flexible approach to problem solving and accountable for making decisions.
  • Proficiency with IT and learning management systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to engage and performance manage a range of audiences.
  • Ability to think analytically and curious to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Champions innovation and agility and able to work in a growing environment.
Your experience:
  • Background in learning delivery is essential.
  • Knowledge of an Engagement Centre environment and its colleagues.
  • Please note the role holder will be accountable for retaining their own qualifications, recency and own continual professional development.
