About the Role

In this role, as our new HR Business Partner youll join a small to medium-sized team and will work in partnership with the line area and the Head of People and team to deliver a high performing organisation that can deliver the company’s People Plan and business plan. Youll  have the opportunity to make a significant HR delivery contribution to the business that puts colleagues firmly on the agenda at the centre of our decision making.

Reporting to the Head of People youll drive results and impact the bottom-line through strategic partnering and hands-on delivery. Youll be a self-starter, solutions focused, problem solver and results driven and ideally have experience working in a challenging, complex, high pressured and fast paced environment.


About you

•    Experience of working on change programmes 
•    Experience of HR strategy, policies and practice (reward, performance management, development, ER, engagement, talent etc.) 
•    IR experience (union negotiation) 
•    TUPE experience 
•    Experience of advising and influencing middle and senior managers 
•    Experience of coaching managers 
•    Experience of reviewing and writing employment policies 
•    Knowledge of employment law (including that relating to IR arrangements) 
•    Knowledge of the airline industry 
•    Experience of operating as a HR business partner.


Qualifications

•    Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above 
•    Sound A-Levels (or equivalent) 
•    University undergraduate degree or equivalent 
•    CIPD qualified to Level 5.
