Human Resources at Airbus is a fully integrated, multi skilled team with Centres of Excellence including Compensation and Benefits, Employees Relations, Talent & Executives Management, and Transformation and Digital activities. An opportunity exists within a dynamic HR environment to experience each and every aspect of Human Resources, in addition to some key and topical HR projects.

What you will be doing: 

During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include;

  • Support to the Head of HR Site with the day to day running of busy HR department including onboarding and induction, supporting at grievance and disciplinary meetings, and reward processes.
  • General HR Administration activities such as HR system updates, recruitment administration and responding to employee queries.
  • Support to HR Project work in partnership with Centres of Excellence such as Reward and Employee Relations.
  • Support Diversity and Inclusion efforts with Airbus in support of our Balance for Business initiatives.
  • Active participation and support to company culture evolution initiatives, including the promotion of work life balance on the Newport site.  Contribution and promotion of mental health activities.
  • Support Early Careers initiatives and development of schemes including Apprentice and Graduate assessment centres.
  • Support to HR workshops as required.
