About the role

We are recruiting for the role of HRMS & Outstation Support Officer in HR- Employee Services department based in Doha, Qatar. This role will be responsible to provide functional expertise for the development, maintenance, and upgrade of HRMS Oracle Applications and its supporting systems to ensure usability and integrity of HR, and other corporate processes within the organization.

Coordinate, analyze and initiate new requirements and lead the implementation of new changes closely liaising with IT and the users.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Effectively plan and oversee Oracle improvement/development projects to ensure successful fulfilment of end-user requirements, proper, accurate testing, and sound implementation.
  • Support the staff on functionally related problem faced in Oracle across the Group.
  • Maintain HR-IT work program and oversee the targeted dates for successful production movement on timely manner.
  • Communicate to team members the work assignments, problems to be solved and/or program issues under review, deadlines, and timeframes for completion.
  • Maintain Supervisor based hierarchy for QR Group. The maintenance is very complex and it requires attention to detail.
  • Liaise with business to incorporate the hierarchy on timely manner with constant movements and new joining staff.
  • Support Outstation queries on timely manner pertaining to HRMS and Other key HR Applications (GEMS, Staff Travel, etc)
  • Responsible for maintaining the Master Data viz a viz: Grade Master, Location Master, Job/Position Master, and Organization Master.
  • Responsible for maintaining Grade based values in the value sets & Grade tables as per existing metrics.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
  • Coordinate, organize and lead the HRMS Oracle Module integration to achieve a smooth interface with HR policies, procedures, and other frameworks.
  • Contribute to discussions on future systems strategy, evaluate existing systems/other products as necessary and make recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance to all policies, procedures, standard operating procedures and safe working practices, with recommendations for action and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Relevant College or University qualification
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a large organization handling large volume of filing desirable including Supervisory experience with good exposure to systems / computers skills.
  • ERP HRMS/HCM functional experience preferred. Previous experience in Oracle HR Systems will be an added advantage.  
  • Design knowledge of custom solutions in HRMS/HCM space is a must.
  • Experience supporting HRMS/HCM systems for large international Organizations will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of workflow systems and ability to configure and maintain approval levels is desired.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI will be an advantage.
  • Experience to operate and communicate effectively while under pressure is essential, as well as handling most sensitive and confidential employee information.
  • This position will require an individual with meticulous attention to detail, combined with excellent communication, organizational skills.
  • In addition, strong computer skills, proficiency with MS Office & preferably e-Docs.
  • Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinates skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
