Job Description:

As a Hand Finisher Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by performing finishing operations on aerospace components. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and precision of the finished products, meeting customer specifications and industry standards. Your attention to detail and expertise in hand-finishing techniques will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

You will report directly to our Manufacturing Supervisor, and youll work out of our Urbana, OH location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hand finishing operations on aerospace components, including grinding, polishing, and sanding
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards
  • Use hand tools and equipment to achieve precise and accurate fit of parts to be assembled
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to finishing operations
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2+ years of experience in assembly
  • Basic understanding of assembly blue prints
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards

  • Knowledge of aerospace finishing specifications and standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
