Head Of Airbus Netherlands Quality

Job Description:

• Maintain and develop the Airbus Netherlands Quality Management System, in line with Airbus Netherlands objectives, regulatory requirements and Airbus DS Quality strategy.

• Ensure successful certification to EN9100 (QMS) and ISO14001 (Environmental).

• Define, implement and maintain the Airbus Netherlands Safety policy, in line with applicable regulations and Airbus Safety policy.

• Guarantee and take responsibility for all Quality, Central Documentation Office and Configuration Management activities.

• Ensure the Quality of delivered products and services to the confidence and satisfaction of the Customer

• Foster and support risk identifications, and definition of preventive actions required to reduce risk exposures

• Ensure independent voice of Quality internally and externally (with Customers) and monitor that customer complaints are recorded and properly managed.

• Identify areas and ideas for improvement through standardized interactions with value adding functions in Airbus Netherlands, such as quality dialogue, monthly cost-of-non quality analysis, lessons learnt, internal audits.

• Perform a continuous assessment of the Airbus Netherlands QMS, e.g. through internal audits.

• Ensure suppliers/ subcontractors are audited to ascertain compliance to applicable regulations and business requirements.

• Ensure grants for operations staff are managed

• Contribute actively to identification of useful improvement actions in the frame of Airbus DS Quality strategy.

• Assess the applicability and benefit of these improvement actions, and implement locally the outcomes of actions adding value for Airbus Netherlands.

• Develop the leadership of the Quality & HSE organization and maintain a highly competent, skilled, motivated team. Ensure team members are trained on relevant matters, methodologies, methods and tools (quality, safety, environmental, documentation & configuration).

• Build a trustful and inclusive environment, promoting collaboration, facts driven decisions and an out of silos mindset.

• Ensure all deliverables are on quality, time and cost to ensure Customer Satisfaction; escalate risks and opportunities.

• Follows developments, identifies opportunities and ensures continuous development of policy, procedures and processes within QSHE fields.

• Ensure that the needed resources are available and that an effective operational planning of employees is in place, according to the demands of the projects.

Very good English language skills (negotiation level) are required to perform this position. Some
knowledge of Dutch language is not mandatory, but would be a plus.
