Honeywell is hiring a Research & Development Scientist Intern - Summer 2024 Intern. You will be integral in analytical and/or engineering functions applying standard mathematical, scientific, and/or engineering technologies. You will collaborate across Honeywell engineering teams to create and/or manage new and current projects.  Prepare evaluation reports, analyze discrepancies, and make recommendations for appropriate solutions.  Prepare product or project definitions, manufacturing drawings and specifications, and test equipment designs. Interact with internal organizations to assist in resolving design and development issues.

Applicants for employment for this position must be US citizens and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

This position is located in Kansas City, MO/KS.  

You Must Have:

•       Must be pursuing a Bachelors of Science or Masters of Science degree in Chemistry

•       Must graduate after December 2024

•       Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship

•       Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Security Clearance

•       Basic understanding of instrumentation to include but not limited to:  NMR Spectroscopy and IR Spectroscopy

•       Gas Chromatography necessary skillsets to collate technical data and present to a technical audience
